(I'll let you in on a little secret... it's totally okay!) If you were unable to make it to Pack 1910's sign up day yesterday, please know that it is never too late to join Cub Scouts. We are a year-round program!

So, if you didn't make it to our ice cream social to sign up, simply send an e-mail to pack1910cubscouts@gmail.com and we will tell you how to get plugged into the Cub Scout experience! The faster you join, the more fun you can have! Think about it! Don't delay!

Pack 1910 has stepped up our annual Registration Day to be a Top Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Social!  Youth entering Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to attend to register for a great adventure!

When: Aug 18, 2019, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Why: Because Scouting is an adventure for the whole family!

So save the date to join us, Sunday, August 18 from 3:30-4:30

While this event is primarily for our NEW FAMILIES to complete their registration paperwork and get the information to get plugged in, CURRENT SCOUTS are welcome to come enjoy a make your own sundae SO LONG AS they are in FULL FIELD UNIFORM.

So, have your Scouts try on their new uniforms with new neckerchief / slide combination for their new rank and come have a sundae on us, bring a friend and get ready for a GREAT 2019-2020 Scouting Season!

If you want to get a jump on the others ready to join Pack 1910, you can log into www.BeAScout.org right now and get your future Cub Scout's application started TODAY!

That's right, you can register for Pack 1910 RIGHT NOW!

Then, when you come to the Raingutter Regatta on Saturday between 3-6, you get to start off having FUN rather than worrying about paperwork (...okay, I'm sort of kidding though as there will still be just a little bit of paperwork to finalize membership.... sorry!!!  But it's worth it!)

Here's all you need to do:

1. From your computer or smartphone, log into www.BeAScout.org and scroll down to they grey box that says "Find Cub Scout Units In Your Area" 
2. Enter zip code 76248 and click the arrow to commence the search.  A map with small Cub Scout logos will appear with a list of Units on the right. Pack 1910 should be the third one on the list.
3. Click the blue hyperlink that reads Show Unit
4. Then click the blue button that says "Apply Now"

We will get notification about the application and get you entered into the system!  Our Treasurer will be at the rally to take membership payments or that can even be done online through PayPal.  

Membership registration payments will cover you through December 2017 and include:

• Your Scout's Pack t-shirt
• A Unit patch for his uniform sleeve
• A Pack 1910 patch for his brag vest or blanket to start his collection
• A subscription to Boy's Life Magazine
• Rank specific Scout handook
• Rank specific neckerchief
• Rank specific nerckerchief slide
• BSA Membership dues
• BSA Insurance 
• plus, all program supplies and materials for Pack meetings as well as any patches, rank or advancement they earn in 2017.  (Please note: prepayment of 2018 dues is suggested.  All 2018 dues ($10 per month) need to be paid before mid-November, however, as we (the whole unit) has to prepay for everyone's annual membership at that time.  More information will be provided at the membership sign-up on Saturday!

Mustang District Day Camp Registration

Unfortunately, technology issues has delayed the launching of the online registration process for the Mustang District's Day Camp but we are going ahead and collecting the information so that everyone has it on the books and is squared away!  

Mustang District Day Camp held each June is definitely a highlight of our Pack's summer calendar.  This year's theme is CREEPY CRAWLIES!  

We have a whole page dedicated to all things DAY CAMP!  Click HERE for that information. It continually be updated as we have more information.

But the important information you need NOW is:

WHO: Cub Scouts entering 1st grade in the fall - 5th graders 
WHAT:  The BEST Day Camp in our Council
WHERE:  Harvest Church on 377 in Watauga
WHEN:  June 5-8 from 8:30 am - 4 pm daily
WHY:  Because it's a BLAST
COST:  $98 per camper** and includes a t-shirt, patch, cap, all program supplies and insurance. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS MAY 8.  After that, the fee is $108.

We NEVER want money to be a reason for your Scout to NOT attend District Day Camp so if there is a need, please complete the campership form, submit it to Chris Mahanna or April Driggers and your fee will be reduced by 50%. This is kept completely confidential.

We have created a Google Form for you to use to sign up your Cub Scout, your tot or yourself to be a walking den leader/chaperone. If you're on a computer, feel free to use the form below otherwise, click HERE for a form that will size to your mobile device's screen size.
