Bridging Graduation Ceremony is tomorrow

 The culmination and celebration of a year of hard work is something Pack 1910 leaders and scouts look forward to each year. Our annual bridging celebration is definitely one of our most anticipated events. Can you believe it is THIS SUNDAY?!  All rank and advancements that were entered into Scoutbook by the deadline have been approved. Thank you to everyone for getting those in.

The Scouts will begin with a graduation ceremony where they bridge to their new ranks. We will be in the amphitheater next to the Scouthouse -- bring chairs for you and your family.  Everything starts at 3 pm. So, please have them present in their full field uniform by then. We will present all of the remaining awards earned to date and then by den they will bridge to their new ranks, receiving their new neckerchiefs and slides. EVERYONE bridges and crosses to their new rank.

A gentle reminder that this will serve as the last Pack "Meeting" until September. We will distribute our Summer Calendar of events via e-mail and cover some of the fun activities at bridging but anything else we do in the summer counts as a summertime event toward earning the National Summertime Award.

Bridging Graduation Ceremony & Potluck

The culmination and celebration of a year of hard work is something Pack 1910 scouts look forward to. Our annual bridging celebration and potluck is definitely one of our most anticipated events. It is THIS SUNDAY!

The Scouts will begin with a graduation ceremony where they bridge to their new ranks in the prayer garden of the United Methodist Church of Keller at 3:30 pm. So, please have them present in their full field uniform. They will be presented with their new neckerchief, slides and handbooks.

Then, it’s time for some food and fellowship at the Scout House!

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN OR IF THE GROUNDS ARE TOO SATURATED, WE WILL BE MEETING IN THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER (THE BIG GYM) FOR BOTH THE CEREMONY AND THE MEAL. AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT OUT BY 2PM WITH THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE EVENT IF THERE IS QUESTIONABLE WEATHER.

End of Year Potluck and Bridging Ceremony

Then, it’s time for some fun over at the H-Center!  They will all have a BLAST with our water activities and outdoor games.  Plus, we all get to enjoy a casual meal together in fellowship.

End of Year Picnic and Bridging Ceremony

The culmination and celebration of a year of hard work is something Pack 1910 scouts look forward to.  Our annual bridging celebration and picnic is definitely one of our do-no-miss events!  The Scouts will have a BLAST with our water activities, and we all get to enjoy a casual meal together then watch our boys bridge to the next rank in their journey.  This will also serve as the last official Pack Meeting until September.  Another post will be made on the fun summer events we have in store!  Be sure to save the date for those!
