Bears and Blades

One of the benchmarks in Scouting that younger Cub Scouts really look forward to each year is earning their Whittlin Chip and then carrying their own pocket knife!

Once Bears take a class this year, they, too, will be prepared with the right training to have the basics of knife safety down and will be ready to start whittling on their own.  Maybe you want to let them learn on an old one, and buy them their very own for Christmas.

Our Bears Are Prepared!

Our Bear den was focusing on teamwork and setting up a tent in preparation for the coming Pack Family Campout!  Working on their Bear Necessities Adventure. I think they did a remarkable job!
