Today, a scurvy band o' scallywag Scouts gathered from all across the pack to compete in a fierce battle 'gainst wind and sea in a Raingutter Regatta. Their tiny ships be no match for the roiling waves and gusty gales, but the hearties be determined to conquer the elements with craftiness and grit. They be racin' their wee boats through the rain gutters, dodgin' leaks and debris, in hopes of bein' the first to cross the finish line. Though many a ship capsized or ran aground, some made it through by wit and cunning alone. In the end, the day belongs to them what navigate the treacherous waters best. But win or lose, all return to port with a thrilling tale to tell and a thirst for adventure. Yarrrr!
Our Raingutter Regatta was awesome! We had ~45 Scouts and their friends come out and there were nothing but smiles all around. As always, a HUGE thanks to all of our parent volunteers and the ladies of Troop 1920 who made all of this possible for the pack.
Here's a few shots from the dens:
Please upload your own pictures to the Pack shared drive so we can share them at blue and gold banquet in the spring! LINK HERE
