We are lucky to be part of one of the best Councils in the Boy Scouts of America. The leadership at the Longhorn Council spends a great deal of time putting together a full year of programming for us all. Here is a link to the available activities offered through the Longhorn Council for the 2014-2015 Cub Scout year. I encourage you to print out this and keep it handy!
While as a Pack we will not participate in everything the Council has to offer, you (as a family) are more than welcome to! For instance, every weekend in October, there are available activities for you and your family or your even your entire den to participate in. So, if you are unable to make one of the scheduled Pack events such as camping, but your Cub still wants to camp -- make it a point to get active with some of the available programs put on through the Longhorn Council.
